Cue the hate in 3, 2, 1...
Hate? It's the love.
It's one of the car shows that the significant other tunes in for me, that's good.
Yes, it would be better, especially if they'd loose the Wrecker and actually show some of the how to car stuff, but it's better than Nascar!!!!
Have only seen a handful of episodes, would rather watch the real TG on netflix for the third or so time.
Good enough hate for you? :P
More to the point, no clue what channel it's on, but I doubt I get it.

I don't have TV at my house, only internet.......the parents have the DVR on dish I still pay for, but I'm still only watching justified....then the Americans tomorrow. TGUS isnt horrible), but I just cannot stand Rutledge speaking.
Once in a great while I miss Direct TV and cable.
Then I remember paying $80 a month to watch two shows and come to my senses.
I only have cable for the fact my fiancee is stay-at-home and she loves her shows...the benefit is that i get to watch things like this and the Rolex 24 and Grand Am racing.
G/f hates it... so I won't be watching it... we're watching All Creatures Big and Small on Netflix...
There's a show on PBS tonight about Henry Ford in the same time slot, so I'll watch it later - they always repeat it a couple times during the week.
DVR is set.
has TGUK ever done a road trip thru Mexico, or is this the US version of the Bolivia trip? if so, it has to meet a very high standard..
I'm starting to really like the US version. Each episode, they seem to be coming more into their own characters- less forced, or something.
I was almost digging it, but then my gf saw what I was watching and said "I can't stand american Top Gear, it's too dumbed down and forced. Needs more cars and less Adam"
She's a keeper, but I'm still not sure about Top Gear America. They lost me at the ass-buss.
The show has grown on me. I liked it. I had the exact same cadillac for a while. It was great I could put the kids in the back and they could be killing each other and you never heard a thing. That one has the weird 4100 V6 that only had cooling to the heads. You could literally see sides of the cylinder bores on the side of the block. Weird motor but for what it was it got along well. Stump pulling torque that ran out at about 500 rpm above idle. I miss that car LOL.

You mean 4100 V8 right? I had an Eldorado with that engine. I bought it from my uncle who worked for Cadillac in the early 80's. He told me that the heads had to be retorqued every 50,000 miles in order to keep those engines from blowing a head gasket. I got it with 232,000 on it. He said a new engine had been put in in 1985 (it was an '84).
The show itself is improving, but they need a big booming guy to do the voice-overs. None of the hosts have a radio-like voice (which all of the UK guys do) and it hurts the presentation.
That said, it's better than Honey Boo Boo.
