So I bought a Kirkey off Woody (thanks!) and a seat rail from trackdogracing. (compared it to the planted ones) it has threaded holes already on the rail and bolts to the stock miata location (drivers side 99 NB)
The instructions say to have someone bolt through from underneath and sort of scuff the seat to mark the drill holes but I don't see how anyone can get their hands undert here with the seat in?
Also I am worried about the 6 pointbelt holes ending up in the wrong place for bolting it down. Any other methods to find the right location?
To maximize headroom for helmet do I want to put the seat back as much as I can or shorten leg room as much as I can and recline the seat more?
If I need to recline the seat more is it safe to do so just with washers under the front bolts?
