Just picked up a Sparco Evo 3 (side mount) sans rails.
Anyone have suggestions where I can pick up a set of rails for this thing? The stuff I'm seeing online is like $130 for the sliders and another $60-130 for the side mount adapters. I can find Corbeau sliders for a foxbody for $30 new, but I'm not sure how universal these things are.
As much as I may like to roll-my-own, I don't really trust my fab skills/resources when it comes to safety gear, and I definitely want sliders.
Would LOVE to be able to bolt this thing in before this Saturday.
Seriously? You guys can ID an Apollo 3500 GT in under 30 seconds, but you can't point me in the direction of reasonably-priced side mount seat rails?

If the seat is FIA tagged, then to keep the FIA rating, you have to get the matching FIA spec rails.
If you don't care about FIA regs, then get a cheap set of the Corbeau-style parts and get on with life.
There isn't much to seat mounting, other than making damned sure the mounts and the seat will do what they are supposed to do in a crash. With Racing seats, most are designed to be used with a seat brace attached to the roll cage.
What kind of car will you be mounting it into?

avoid single locking sliders, opt for double locking...
