So, did you win?
Moral victory, anyway.
We stated 17th and got tapped from behind on the green flag lap, sending us back to about 20th. Worked our way up to 12th by the time we did our driver switch about 45 minutes in. I made it up as high as 8th during my stint, and came into the pits under a full course yellow in 9th with about 35 minutes to go... and didn't get to the pit speed limiter in time. So we got penalized to the end of the lead-lap pack, which put us back in 17th when the green flew again. We were smart enough to take fresh tires, so we worked back up to 12th by the final lap, then cars 10 and 11 both went off in the final chicane and rejoined the track after basically cutting a huge portion of track. Provisional results showed us in 11th after the automatic penalty for one of those drivers, but the other one is under review, so we may lawyer-ball ourselves into a top 10 by the time it all shakes out.
