Nice front geometry.
:-/
love the front drag radials.
I'll be honest, I hate this car. It's poseur city.
It's an idea that had a lot of potential, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired for me. As long as I view it as a design exercise rather than an engineering exercise though, I can still at least appreciate the time and fabrication that went into building it as a piece of rolling artwork.
Im ok with this. Its probably so light that the suspension doesn't really matter as long as it doesn't actually articulate much. Dont like the wing visually, but whatever. If things like this (1930-something two door something or other) were cheaper to build I probably would have done one by now.
I drive a stock 2006 GMC Sierra... I pretty much like (at least to look at and appreciate) just about every automotive genre.
Those dirt track racing wheels are so heavy that it goes against the entire philosophy of this build, which is “kind of sports car, kind of F1 car”. Who cares about suspension geometry when your suspension can’t work well with those heavy ass wheels.
While we are “here’s what I would do...” I would locate that engine in the trunk, where it belongs, and convert the whole thing to center drive. Also, that windshield needs to be canted more forward.
take away the spoiler and roof scoop and put on actual road tires instead slicks (keep the same size though) and it's basically the type of car i dream about. Small, light, and huge tires with no fenders.

Exactly! Emphasis on 'who cares'.

Its all fun and games until theres any amount of moisture on the road. Or snow. Or mud.
My day dreams are closer to something like the Lot Lizard that was build by one of our own. Which would help deter trying to drive in inclimate weather.
La la la can't hear anything negative over the sound of my jaw hitting the floor. 10/10 would gladly pilot to an early grave.
Anyone with criticism can go build their own. This thing is awesome and you all know it.
So one of the reasons that I detest this car to the degree that I do is that I have long dreamt of building a version of the rendering that I posted earlier.
My plan was to do a street legal smaller scale version based on a legends car with boosted hyabusa power. I LOVE the rendering and the idea.
As I stated, I have less warm feeling about the poseur version.
