Yeah, KBB is usually ridiculously high on non-enthusiast cars and ridiculously low on enthusiast cars.

But in this case, the $2750 would probably be pretty good. If it's really clean you could probably get more, but with oxidized paint, in my opinion, you'll probably be about right at that price. I'd start higher, but be willing your way down.

Again, can't stress enough, this is my opinion. My only qualification is having bought and sold dozens of cars over the years. Not MR2's, though.

If you're selling cheap, I'll take it for $1501 - a full $1 more than the rabble here has offered! ;-)

Ninja Edit: Noticed one with a spun bearing and 180k miles sold on eBay for $2500! But it did have some mods which might be good, might be bad...

$4k is easy SW20 Turbo territory here. There's a nice red one at a dealer lot that i've had my eye on for $3100.

A clean 91-92 NA is $1500~2500 A clean 93 NA is $2750~3500 An outstanding 93~95 NA is $4k+ Turbos are $4k+ and vary wildly based on condition.
Hardtop cars are rare and desirable for competition, and thus bring a premium.

I personally bought a clean one-owner 1994 Turbo (rare car) for $5700 at a used car lot. Reconditioned it and sold it for $11k.

I have a buddy that bought a clean 91 hard top NA for ~$1800. I know a guy that bought a rough, but drivable 91NA for $500.

I also know that these are enthusiast cars and often sell for a premium on the internet. I think how you market it will determine what you can get out of it.

That said, when I'm buying....it's just an old Toyota. When I'm selling....it's a rare gem of an automobile. The truth is somewhere in between. ;)

Hmmm, well since I'm still not sure on an asking price maybe I'll post over in the classifieds and ask for offers or trades. It truly is a great car, it's just not what I need right now and I'd really like to pass it on to someone on the board than sell it to some punk locally.

If you want it, you can PM me cash, trade, or combo offers or just post them here!

I'd start it at about $3,500 if the interior is decent and no big dents and go from there.
