I have some one interested in buying my Civic Si but he is in CT. He wants to ship the car up to him. He is dealing with the shipping.

How do I do a bill of sale? Then what is the safest way to send a title? I am assuming bank transfer is the safest way to receive the money for the car?

Wire transfer the money.  Once that's done, sign the title, create a bill of sale on your computer, sign the bill of sale.  Scan and email it to buyer, have them sign it and email it back to you.  Fedex the title to the buyer.  Done!

Saw this on another forum when doing some searching. Seems to make sense.

1) BOS/agreement between buyer and seller, signed and dated, faxed back and forth. Each has a copy with both signatures.

2) Money is transfered into sellers account 100% all funds.

3) Next day title and spare keys are FED EX'd over night to buyer.

4) Buyer makes arrangement to have car shipped.
