Working on my challenge car.
using stock Colorado throw out bearing
I am trying to figure out if I need to build a spacer or not.
Do I just measure the distance from the back of the bellhousing (while connected to the engine) to the fingers of the pressure plate.
Then measure from the face of the transmission to the top of the throw out bearing in the collapsed stage?
Then add in a small amount of wiggle room like 1/16"?
I want the clutch to work but also don't want to over extend the throw out bearing.
