I like those tails on it.. At least they did not round on it

I, too, have always felt that Mavericks were under appreciated. And I do like the Camaro tail lights. It seems so logical and now I'm surprised that I haven't seem that modification before.

While I like the Maverick, I absolutely hate the one in the first post. It looks like the springs are broken. Call me an old geezer, but I don't care for the whole lowered to the ground fad that's currently got everybody in a frenzy.

This too shall pass.

I'm waiting for an update on this Mav'. Viper engine swap > LSx, at least in style points:

Those wheels can make anything look good. I think the profile view of the car is actually pretty nice.

The very well done photos don't hurt.

I've these same wheels on my '95 Mustang, the only issue I have is that the rear axle is visually too narrow for the car, and I didn't want to deal with staggered widths & offsets. I really like these wheels and for the cost & weight vs. the more common Bullit style stuff or the various reproductions of factory wheels (with added weight, most of these things run over 22 lbs for a 17" wheel) I'm not sure why more guys aren't running them.

while it probably does not handle well with lowering blocks and cut springs.. I like that it is lower and not sky high like every other one I have seen is. The only mavericks you still see around seem to be drag specials.. same with the Pintos and Mustang IIs

Never saw this coming. That is a sharp looking car.

Its funny how when cars like this were around, I never gave them a second look. Now I want one. Also find myself wanting a Fairmount wagon so I can stick a Mustang front end on it.

Hanging around you guys is a bad influence. Thanks!

isn't anyone going to point out that the article says the taillights are from a '69 camaro when they're clearly '67 - '68? you guys are slippin'.

100% agree. And I think that car looks pretty good. Better than the GTV6 all these people keep trying to pawn off as "beautiful" lately.
You need to get your eyes checked if you think the GTV6 is not beautiful. I like Enkei rims. I have had several sets over the years.. light weight(ish), strong(ish), and cheap(ish).. it's a good combination. I am glad they are finally putting pretty rims out again. I would love to see them put the RPO1 back into production

+eleventy. The RP01 > RPF1.

I'm always on the lookout for more sets of them, have a set of the Blue/Black "Special Editions" on my Celica.

I had a set on my tiburon. I put that car up onto a kerb on a rainy night at a good enough rate of speed to spin me completely around. Not only was I able to drive it home, but all it did was bend the lip a little bit and never lost an pound of air. I was also able to bend it back with a deadblow hammer.

Enkei once made some very pretty, very light, and very strong rims.. I am glad they are doing it again.

I always liked this one form Hotrod Magazine. Mustang wheels and re-shaped wheel arches work.
