Yah, in order to deal with that, my idea was to run the intakes through the center of the head, like this
and then stick the ignition on the top. This would require either a large single plenum that wrapped around the end of the engine or two small plenums on the side. Further, height is another reason I would prefer to stay away from DOHC.
