Wish I could post pictures.. but that thing is a shooting brake gone wrong.

What, you don't think that would bolt up to the Jeep trans and transfer case?

They are both ugly as all get out. The intake manifold on the 'vette thingy is almost bigger than the engine! And it's only a 327. i think someone had two carbs and some sheet metal, a TIG and time---like they had with the rest of that thing.

Somewhere a Tefosi is crying to BUY that jeep.

Those were not uncommon in the 70's.

Those were not uncommon in the 70's.

They should stay there along with things like Quaaludes, Disco, and those weird cone shaped harvest gold/orange colored cone head fireplaces..

In general, it's a wagon or hatchback version of a 2-door coupe with a long roof line and relatively upright rear hatch.

There was a similar Vette on Hemmings a couple of months ago. Apparently, a number of them were made.

Those Vettes were never common, but I've probably seen about a dozen of them.

I actually like the Corvette.

I don't mind the Vette either. Not sure I'd pay big bucks for one but they can be neat. Of course I owned a Reliant Scimitar GTE for a while too ... so no accounting for taste.

Silverfleet & I came across one of these across from a local junkyard last year. We did a double take because we knew there was no such thing from the factory. And now we know

I like the Vette, something different....but I also like wagons.
