I am trying to get my Vibe back out on the dirt for some RallyXs and did really good last time placed 3rd in Stock FWD. But now I want to push harder and the RallyX courses around me look like a lot more intense. I am just trying to prepare the car, and I have heard the 1zz have an oiling issue, i found a Moroso pan but its $500! Is there any cheaper way to handle this or am I just overthinking and this isnt a real issue? Anything else maybe an Trans cooler?

Run a 1/2 L higher than recommended?

It takes quite a bit to generate significant g-forces on dirt. Most of the time you are going to slide and the g's drop off.

Wouldn't any oiling issue be caused from longish sweepers more than from the quicker jostling in most AutoX courses?

The lateral G's experience, as mentioned above would be of a much shorter duration. Perhaps too short to cause the motor to starve.
