Only reason I'm venting the hood on my M3 is for track work. Coolant temps are fine on the street and I suspect yours are more than fine too.
So unless you're going to pounding on the car for 20-30 minutes at a time on track, I wouldn't bother. I resisted hood louvers on my M3 for the past few years and I'm still very conflicted about taking my angle grinder to the original hood/paint and cutting three huge holes in it...
Unless the under hood heat is causing problems.

an important detail of this setup is the raised lip at the leading edge of the vent (just behind the Cadillac script) is creating more low pressure to aid the vents' pulling air out
Ever notice Nascars don't have hood vents ? Not those little flaps that are for another purpose.
First, they let very little air in the front. They let all excess air out the wheel wells.
I remember my SAAB 96 had under hood side vents.
Hey did y'all know the interwbb is full of interesting stuff .....check this, ICE's are only truly efficient(so to speak) at higher combustion chamber temps which requires higher engine operating temps (200+degrees coolant). Therefore my journey of heat extraction has a twofold path. No, I will no longer look towards a lower temp thermostat(efficiency negator) and base of the hood venting ....but the focus is now, once again, how to isolate induction air supply from sealed under hood residual heat , emanating from the supercharger, radiator, intercooler(heat exchanger).Fender venting is still ago (to allow the way too small SC intercooler to function a little bit better).....heat 'wrapping' the air inlet system is a primary focus, and hood vent similar to the newer "V's" is being closely looked at.

My E36 M3box '99 Malibu ran hotter without a hood. Venting the V is probably fruitless.
Yeah, that's not the same thing. Not the same thing at all.
I now see that. I will say that I was investigating what I was thought was an underhood heat related electrical issue. I learned nothing useful from that exercise.
Upon closer inspection the supply/return cooling lines to the SC pass over the PS exhaust manifold .....bare....hmmm ......insulation coming up
