Aftermarket or custom knob-jobs anyone?
This is a cheap ebay "Corvette" shift knob. It won't fit a ranger, so I bored out the center of the shaft and JB Welded a bolt to fit the knob. Works great and is a great fit. It is very comfortable and I think it looks good, too.
Anyone wanna show me their knob?
LOVE the thread title.
What if my knob isn't custom or aftermarket? Do you still want to see it?

I'm open to all knobs.
CJ Pony Parts/Epco shift knob in my Mustang. It feels way better than the stock knob which has edges that kind of stick in your hand.
/huh, huh, you said "knob."
Here's my B2200's knob in all it's OEM glory:
Maybe I can get an extra point for my sweet aftermarket floor mats?
Since my photobucket is out of bandwidth, I can't show you how it looks in the car :(
The weighted knob I installed in the 951:
Made a huge difference in shifter feel.
Since the 924 has a dogleg 5-speed, I found a Ferrari-style shift knob for it:
Works pretty well, kinda wish it also was weighted, but I can't complain too much :)
That reminds me I need new floor mats. Rex, love the way your knob looks.

FWIW, I prefer OE “knobs".
My home made shifter uses one of these phenolic ball knobs. IIRC it's a 1.5" diameter and costs about $2.30 at Grainger. The thread is 3/8". It's a replacement knob for a backhoe control lever or fork truck lift.
I have a Voodoo, pretty much like this one only with a brushed finish. I didn't post a pic of my actual knob because posting pics of your knob from a government computer is frowned upon, even during lunch hour.
not really a "knob" but here is my homemade shifter in the race truck, had to add some bends to keep it from hitting the steering wheel on 1 - 2 shifts but its in a nice position to just reach over from the wheel and shift
The factory JK knobs are a PITA to remove - totally worth it though.
Here's mine!
JK I'm running all stock knobs. Well one had a slight mod right after leaving the factory...
Dang GPS, your knob is HUGE

I have to admit, I didn't expect that.

I think that is the AW11 shift knob
Hey look!!
I've got two.
Samurai. Of course you only grab one of them when things really get dirty.
Make that three.
Abomination.
I can't help it, it happened at birth.
I'd show you mine, but it's just a generic T-handle that I can't wait to get rid of.

Well, join the ranks and fabricate one. Or maybe someone will fabricate one for you. Just don't tell anyone that we handled your knob before you.
Some of us like buttons AND knobs.

This is the one in the ms3. Yes the ms3 is a 6 speed. It amuses me.
All the other ones are OEM.... so far.
Hurst lever off a 4WD transfer case I cut in half and drilled new holes in. Swap meet sourced knob that I sanded the 3spd pattern off of and polished with a hurst boot, also a swap meet score. I am about $15 into it but already want to change it up after 2 weeks.
This has been on my mind
I think the white would go with the interior theme and the rounded edges of the lever would be more comfortable.
Oops. My cupholder in the passenger footwell found its way into the shots
I swear I didn't prompt this thread.......
Ive have this one from Speed Source on mine for the past 10 years. Along with a short shifter its great, I love it.

Edit: I reach half dork-dom talking about my knob, how oddly appropriate.
