Nice! I threw together a cam lamp last night from a Holset compressor housing, LS cam, and wiring from an old lava lamp. The funny part is the LS cam journal was a perfect press fit for the inlet of the compressor housing.

also LS cams make great cam lamps as they are hollow and easy to run wires through

Trebuchet ....you know so we don't need to walk across the neighborhood to return soccer balls and such.

I made some curtains and a valence with my mom, and then I used the leftover fabric to make a double row wrench roll. Back row is for ratcheting, front row for regular. Obviously I need to learn to use the sewing machine more like she does...

Finally finished the concessions bar for the theater.  The only things I purchased pre-made were two wall cabinets (converted with toe-kicks as skinny base cabinets), the granite, and the millwork/trim.  Everything else is made from scratch with scraps from the shop.  Special thanks to SVRrex and Nick for guidance on cutting the granite.

Please ignore the garbage welds.  Second time welding haha.  Made this winch plate that can be attached anywhere there is a trailer hitch

Nice! Practice makes perfect with welding. I'm still learning as well. 

Here's what I came up with for my winch:

I didn't want something permanent on the trailer in case I switch trailers, need the winch for something else, and just to keep it our of the weather. So far it works really well. I just bring along a spare battery and vice grips to power the winch, then keep everything inside when it's not in use.

The cam bearings on the PBS OHC fiat head were worn, the rocker shafts were multiple pieces and sitting at disparate angles. And if I was making new bearings and rocker shafts I might as well address the oiling issues..

The cam journal are 0.100" undersize so they can be line bored in situ.

Cam journal diameter is still mighty small. Does this use a rocker from a production car or is the rocker as bespoke as the casting and camshaft? I love sub 1 liter Fiats....

Cam journals are 0.75" the rockers are very nice forged pieces but I have no idea what they were originally from.  I can't imagine PBS producing these themselves for such a limited production sports racer engine.

Well, they did the head and valve cover castings.........post a picture directly to me, I am old and experienced, maybe I can ID it. The eyeball basic geometry looks BMW, but that era their rockers were aluminum die cast, with excentric adjusters.

They look like split caps to me. I'm very jealous of people with these kind of machining skill/capacity.
