My favorite was on the broadcast(live) of the left front off of#55 as it rolled to the fence in front of two 'fans' that had way too much pre race excitement the night before.......sound asleep in their folding chairs...BWaHahahahaaa!!!!
Here’s Tim driving the TR3 during the heritage exhibit earlier today.
Don’t forget: you can upload images directly from your phone now, so don’t be shy. We’ll even use some of our favorites in the post-event recap and credit the GRM fans who shot them.
Here's as close as I got this weekend. The parking lot at work. At least I was able to appreciate the sound.
The silver Wagon in front is mine, not the Ferrari!
And woo hoo, the upload from my phone worked!
Half the fun of the Rolex is walking around the infield to see what spectators drove in.
Those M3's are delicious.
The driver's meeting.
Thanks again to the GRM crew for putting on a great event. The fan access to the garages and drivers is a breath of fresh air from IMSA compared to other racing series.
Because I'm so hip (okay, maybe not) mine are on Instagram.
For the first time in the ten years or so since I've been going to the Rolex 24, I actually didn't bring my real camera in.
First time in five years I haven't worked the Rolex 24 and was just a spectator again. Unless you have a media vest, or a step ladder, or maybe a 400mm lens you want to haul around it's difficult to get good photos of on track action.
Took a few with my iPhone though.
In reply to Ed Higginbotham :
Thanks. I want to improve my night shots more, but there aren't many opportunities to practice. I had a few come out really well, but a lot that were a bit blurry.

Here are a few. Let me know if there are any others you are looking for. I took a TON of pics over the weekend.
