Yeah, I hates {internet + engine_weights}. You never get the same answer twice, because no one even says what condition the motor was in when they weighed it. For 7Ms, the weight I usually find includes the transmission for some unknown reason. :rolleyes:

The Motus engine was designed by Katech, it's worth its weight in gold. I'd put it in a shifter kart, or racing mower, or something really stupid like that.

but that engine ISN"T fully dressed... lets be fair... a long block weighs about 200#s, and that is all they are weighing is a long block

I've seen V4's based on the old small block, never seen one on a bike though. That would make more sense than one of those V8 Bikes
