It actually started today at 3:00pm almost in the dot. Just like the weatherman said it would.
Record snow falls, 45 mph winds. And cold. That's more of what the weatherman is saying. Stay off the roads, they are also saying. 800 snow plows 1600 snow plow drivers. Should be fun.
Yeah it's blowing my way, be here around noon. Rain, then freeze (fun) and then I am on the line between 3-6 inches and 6-12!
I'll be in my room ....
I am in the path also. Early afternoon the unwanted visitor will be knocking on my door. Looks like ice for me.
It's supposed to hit SE NH this evening. Fortunately, it should be well after I'm comfortably back in my hotel room. My commute to the construction site is about 2 miles, so I'm not too worried about driving in tomorrow. It might have been worse this morning - parking lot was a sheet of black ice...
I'm mainly happy that it'll be all rain at home so I don't have to worry about clearing the sidewalk.
Stay off the roads? But that's where the fun is.

We've had a few flurries here so far, but we're supposed to get it this afternoon. Looks like a few inches of snow and some wind. So nothing awful, but it'll likely be enough to get the snowblower out of the garage for only the second time this winter.
It's been a big year for snow for us in the Eastern Ontario area. We're at 8 feet overall so far. Hoping this will be the last big one for the season.
Here in SE Michigan they are calling for sleet and freezing rain. Lots of ice on the trees and power lines. I'm WFH and the wife has a snow day, so my main concern is that the juice stays on.
Looks like 2" of snow or so on the ground for tomorrows commute.

Here in the Sierras we're having a good blast moving in today. Not crazy daily totals, but steady 4-8" days for a week. I"m happy to see it. We got 30ish feet at the christmas-newyears holiday and haven't had too much since. Can't wait to go play in it, don't want to shovel my car out every day though.

That was just a nice bonus.
I am in Ormond Beach watching the Minnesota weather forecasts. I will be heading back to MN next week where piles of snow are waiting to greet me.

Yep. Supposed to 75 and sunny here in OKC today. Of course like mentioned in a different thread, July/August are miserable.

One of those days when an AWD BMW kart would be pretty fun, as long as you had your long johns!
So far just some rain here though
The high today, tomorrow, and Thursday are 81, 82, 82.
Enjoy your snow day. I'll be sitting here listening to my A/C run.
I'd rather have the snow.

I'm supposed to see 90* this week. This storm is dumping high pressure air all over us and making for record temps. I can still tell you where my jeep is parked without poking snow banks so I'ma shut my mouth about it though.
In reply to Robbie (Forum Supporter) :
That is a regret of mine, since I didn't have that car during winter.
I drove north to get the good stuff. Going to ski/ride for a couple days.
Weatherman: :OMGWTFBBQ!!! 24 HOURS OF A SNOW EVENT! ICY ROADS POSSIBLE! CERTAIN DEATH!!!"
....Light rain. All these overreacting shiny happy person meteorologists need to switch to decaf. I expected to get up and shovel 82 inches of snow this morning, and...rain. Light rain.
I think every would be meteorologist that couldn't hack it, simply dropped out and then started a website. I've seen too much "PORKCHOP SANDWICHES! E36 M3, we're all dead! Nothing happened? *shoulder shrug* Opps" on the internets to think otherwise.
