available in 2005 and 2006 Jeep Liberties, It requires pretty frequent 50kmile cam belt changes and a bunch of work arounds to stop it from carboning up. I've heard of folks having to take the head off to decarbon the thing. I think it's very finicky with fuel(no personal experience). Anyone who has one says there is a time and money premium to having one. The EGR is poorly designed. The trans and converter have problems with the torque.
That said, I want to play with one....
Now I also know the engines are not that well loved in europe. Cummins Mercruiser launced a line of sterndrives with small deisels, going down to 1.7L, they are also less than loved.
