It is mainly to have the challenge of doing it. It is something that I think I can complete for a small amount of money but if I fail then all I am out is a few hundred dollars and bunch of time.
I have thought, and may, about installing a stock 300 EFI (maybe with a carb head) with a holset on it and completing this later.
