One of my tires crapped out on the way to work today. My dilemma is that I am running an older version of Blizzaks that aren't made anymore. Should I try to track one down or will a newer Blizzak do the trick for the last couple months of winter? This is on a Yaris. Also, the two tires with the most tread on them are on the front..
Buy two new for the front and be done with it !
What Chebbie_SB said, except put the newer tires on the rear axle. Understeer is more manageable in winter than oversteer.
what size and model blizzak? ive got 3 older ones that i dont need that i think are 205/55/15.... forget the model number right now, but they arent one of the nicer performancey looking patterns.

Craigslist can be your friend.
I have 13" Blizzaks on steelies. Lotsa tread on them. Will trade for Miata parts.
Did you at least get dinner first?
"so I blew a tire today..."
I'm sure that's just ice cream.
so a guy goes into a bar and says to the bartender, "gimme 6 shots of tequila!" the bartender asks what's the occasion, and the guy says, "First blowjob!" The bartender pours 7 and says "The last one's on the house." Guy says, "If the first six haven't gotten the taste out of my mouth, I don't think the seventh one is gonna do me any good."

The mechanic said I blew a seal. I told him to fix the damn thing and keep my private life out of it, okay pal?
I really shouldn't be encouraging this.

Oddly, my manager(in the seafood dept.) doesn't want me playing that song on our stereo out front.
Instead we have 80's collections

I guess as long as you didn't blow a seal or a rod, you're doing OK.

that's the same model as mine. they arent the same size but if you can fit a 205 and want 2 of em for a pair let me know.
It never ceases to amaze me of fast a thread can get off track. This one might have set a record.

I haven't heard that is probably 25 years. It still makes me laugh. Thanks!

If you blew a tire, a rim job is certainly next in order.
