I am hoping next spring to move back to along the ocean... which is hard enough on automotive tin, but is a death sentence for ancient Italian tin. I will be putting my rust free shell on ebay shortly (within the month)

I will be keeping the 2litre engine and trans I picked up.. this will be the beginnings of a LoCost. I added up the pros and cons.. and the Pros way out weigh the cons.

With a running LoCost.. I can also get rid of my BMW as my current fun car/DD and just run the LoCost and Saab.. using the saab on the days I do not want to brave the elements.

Of course, this is all about 2 year in the making.. so the BMW is safe for now..

Didn't you pick up a couple of Lancias recently, too? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else...

that would be the one... the only rust I have found on the car is small spot on the drivers side floor the size of a quarter.. and it was already welded up by a previous owner.

It does have a slight crease along the passenger front fender and door though

Which ocean? I have always said that if I move from my beloved Pittsburgh, I would have to be within an hours drive of the shore.

Since I know you live in the dreaded NJ like me I gotta ask, have you looked into what its going to take to make a Locost street legal in the state?

It's not pleasant. But press on, it sounds like fun (the car not the process to register it)

if needs be.. I have family in other states who can "sell" it to me after it is registered there
