Now that I own it, what should I know about it?
2017 V60 T5, fwd. Has tech & cold weather packages, but no sport. Has the 2.0L turbo 4 cylinder, seems like 2016 was the last year of the whiteblocks.
Looking for resources: turbobricks is aimed at much older models, swedespeed seems like the best bet so far. Looks like a polestar tune isn't available for this particular year, and most of the aftermarket tunes are $1000+
I'm getting the sense I may have bought an oddball orphan model year...

Nice grab! I like them. What trim level?
We have a 2017 S60 T5 AWD, equipped that way. Have had no issues with the new engine (although it has low miles) and it's a great driver. I actually like the steering feel in the 2017 better that in my 2019.
There should be a Polestar tune available for your car. Go here: https://engineered.polestar.com/us/ and enter V60 / 2017 / T5 Drive-E - looks like it adds 11% midrange hp and 14% torque.
There isn't much in the way of super active forums, but https://volvoforums.com/forum/ seems to be the best all-rounder for the newer cars.
IPD has to have stuff for that model. They are one of the biggest Volvo performance manufacturers out there.

In reply to Duke :
I saw that polestar tune, is it ONLY for the drive-e? This one is a Premier.
Also not sure how much that polestar tune is...might be worth it if it remaps the transmission as well
In reply to kevinatfms :
Checked IPD as well, they have no tunes listed for 2017 cars

"Drive-E" is basically just Volvo's name for the post-whiteblock 2.0.
The Polestar tunes are usually around $1100 installed. Not sure if you can do it yourself or if they require dealer-level electronics to do it. I suspect they do.
