So did I. And should be back for Fall Graduation in December. (Go Vandals)
Good thing my niece in Moscow wasn't super cheap and got a new car- that one's a steal.

Haha no. My life is complicated enough right now without a $200 Festival LOL. I think it got sold because the ad is no longer up.
Lewiston is my hometown; born and raised here. I came back, for some reason .
Wow, I had no idea there was so much Vandal/N. Idaho representation on GRM!
Alfa, congrats on the pending graduation.
Stanger_missle, yeah, it's a tough place to be this time of year, especially. I don't miss those winters!

One cool thing- she was in the Marching Band, just like her Uncle was 30 years ago. Very cool. I should have planned a Homecoming to join hte alumni band so that we could be on the field at the same time...
So looking for festivas for sale online and i come across this...
its also priced like someone is on drugs $6500 https://www.riversideautosales.com/used/Ford/1991-Ford-Fiesta-a5a95cb90a0e08be509407aa6ef8c05f.htm
There was a company in Atlanta that made a fiberglass tub that dropped in the back of a cut off Festiva to finish the back of the cab and form the top edge and inside of the bed and make a little Ranchero. They even had a little tailgate. The whole molds and works were on eBay about 7 years ago.
That truck is ridiculous. Wow! Honestly, this thing hauls so much more than anything else I've owned as is. The amount of interior space is pretty neat with the seats folded up and out of the way.
Poopshovel, I wish I had the coin or the time for that B6T, but I need to get a job first!
I will say, it is not easy to find good 12 inch tires!
Yesterday I put the bald-on-the-inside front tires on the back and the newish back tires on the front, and it did a lot better in the rain. It was scary before.
The amount of road feel you get in this car is something else. And not all of it's good. Lots of bump steer and tramlining, I'm thinking due to the narrow tires/wheels.
In reply to CyberEric :
look at the classic mini specific sites. They usually will have tires in the size you need. like https://www.minimania.com/ss/TIRES has a selection of 12's
'79 Dodge Challenger 14x7" rims look and fit so good that I kept a spare set around for almost 20 years waiting for a perfect Festiva to put them on. I only just sold them as part of my recent purge effort.

Very helpful, thank you!
Prices are a little high, but at least there's some decent options. Those A008s sound like a good performance tire.
I'm thinking I might autocross this car at some point... maybe in whatever street class (HS?) or STS. It'll probably be too roll-y for a HS tho.
And damn, a 700 hp Festiva! Look out!
