Nothing fun.
Fix trailer wiring on the truck (tonight).
Start on the g/f's 850 timing belt service and suspension rebuild.
Haul her broken Spitfire back to NJ on a trailer with the truck plus a bed-load of firewood.

I'm going to clean up the '85 325e I just started driving (though I've owned it for almost 2 years). The interior is filthy and it has been sitting under pine trees since spring. It needs a thorough scrub. Paint is not good, but it can't hurt to wash it off and get rid of the gunk.

Spend some time tuning the Megasquirt in the TR8 & take the TR3 to the ski resort for my first Ski Patrol refresher of the year. The crosses you see on it are magnetic stick on. The car is the right color and the ski patrollers love it!
Changing the coolant hoses, fuel lines and fuel filter on the Montesa and, hopefully, firing it up for the first time in several years. Also, pulling the head off of one of the Jun-Air compressors and trying to figure out why it won't kick on with the other one.

You know you're on Grassroots when someone says something about their "spare Yugo".
Set valve lash and re tighten bolts on e30 I rebuilt two weeks ago
Instal new bigger aftermarket aluminum radiator in the Durango
Replace radiator in the track car e30 so I don't bake THAT head gasket too
Live in it for 30 hours driving Forest Service roads in the Ouachita National Forest crewing two runners in a 100 mile footrace.

What mountain? I have a buddy that use to do ski patrol at Baker. Pat Reeves.
Friday I will get the Focus out of the storage garage and clean off any dust that has accumluated in the last 2 weeks. Take it to the cruise-in Saturday night. Sunday will be cleaning and putting it back in storage for another week.
The M3 is getting a set of new BFG G-force Sport Comp-2 tires put on this weekend!
The Eagle hopefully will get the rear-end buttoned up and I'll fix the brake line to get it back terrorizing the streets.
The TR-6 really needs to have a photo-shoot for it's day on E-Bay---- selling it if anyone wants a solid 72 for $4K. PM me if you are interested.
Pat the 2002 gently on the hood and ask it if it can see the garage progress from its spot on the street...
Then more roofing. Hoping to finish that by the end of the weekend. After that the rest of the garage work happens inside and it can rain without stopping progress.

Summit at Snoqualmie - Central. The old Ski Acres.
If you get up there I'm one of a few Telemark Patrollers and the only one wearing yellow boots. Ask a patroller if Jack is patrolling today. It's always fun to meet a new GRM'er.
Jack
EDIT - I just noticed where you are from. It'll be easier for you to find me. Just look for the only car in the lot with a MRG sticker on the back of the Thule box. I grew up skiing out of the Miramar Ski Club (parents helped found it) just over the covered bridge and later belonged to the Ramapo Mountain Ski club on the MRG access Road. MRG=Best skiing ever!
Tearing apart the FD to diagnose which turbo gave up the ghost last weekend at NJMP.
Practice, practice, practice at TIG welding on metal scrap.
Take the motor back out of the Escort and finish "dressing" and timing it.
Maybe make a new turbo/manifold gasket for the MX6.

I work at Sugarbush. I pass the ski club every day on the way into work. I live up by the round barn. The did a lot of work to the building this summer.
The current plan - apart from rest, hope that Fanatec support gets back to me re a problem with one of their wheels, and hoping that Miata parts arrive in time - is to find out why the turn signal switch on the ix has the lights stuck on "high beam flash". Probably wants a new switch. Great.
Part two is trying to fix an aligment issue that the front bumper cover on my Miata has. That'll either result in a me trying to find a new used fender and bumper cover or a slightly better fitting bumper.

Sugarbush was one of my favorite hills back in high school. I even drove down from Mountain Road in Stowe a few times to ski there.
Damn all I need to do is a front brake job on my pickup and put the bumper, foglights, headlamp wiper system back on the mercedes, it looks might ratty right now.
Oil change and send a sample to blackstone labs, wash and vacuum the IS300. Polish the headlights and foglights too. Crawl underneath it and see which LCAs I need to replace. Maybe JB weld that crack on the bumper if I have enough time.
Drain gas tank on Celica, maybe go buy a new battery for it if I have the $$ so I can actually start working on it.
Try to finger out why the LS400 always shows E on the gas gauge, float/sensor seems good so maybe wiring? It's gonna be a blind fumble in a dark thorny forest I'm sure.
Clean out garage = needs to be done!
Junkyard trip Sunday since PYP has 50% off.
You'll need to log in to post.
