In reply to spitfirebill: dont worry. there will probably be mandatory backup cameras soon. i suppose they could double as a full time rear view mirror.

wow i guess they actually built that nissan as well, the pics i saw here looked animated it's so ridiculous

Palmer also suggested any production version would be rear-wheel drive, and that Nissan is even considering allowing a system where customers could 3-D print new body panels. No joke: there are visible attachment hard points on the NISMO car.

OMG E36 M3 will reach new levels of retarded with these ricers but the advantage is... easy box flares?

It's funny my wife made me sit through an entire chick flick starring Amy Adams and it was no big deal.

But this clip...

Can't believe we went 3 pages without anyone showing a picture. I like the styling a lot.

And I too had an RX-3 wagon; drove mine all through college.

Ain't nothin' new under the sun.

Put me in the 'damn I like it' camp, as long as it doesn't weigh 32746984.6 pounds.

I would love one to replace the wifes Forester XT but it would need a manual.

I always thought that Lancia Nailed the "shooting brake" design with the tasty (and rust prone) Beta HPE

The Europe only HPE Volumex was pretty awesome.

I like the concept, and really liked some of the web renders that were around over the last month.

But this thing looks like a mini Infinity FX. Its not just high, it also has huge wheel wells & fenders. I guess a production version would lose the off color fender lips. It fits the title "cross" like they are trying to fit it into that not-a-car not-an-SUV category.

So close, yet so far away.

I always wanted a europe only Volumex Fiat Spider or Volumetrico Abarth 131. The 131 10 times more of course. They made a lot of interesting cars they never sold here that they should of.

Why couldn't they just take the BRZ and turn it into a shooting brake? Leave the rest of the car alone, it didn't need new front fenders or lights or bumpers.
