So somehow you've totalled two denalis....and a house.

I'd be calling a priest/ holy man to bless the property and vehicles, or a shaman to do a cleansing... depending on how you roll spiritually

If it was me I would be a real pita as this is going to come out of the other drivers insurance once your company settles with you. Also has there been amy damage to you lawn or planting’s?  Look at that in the morning as I would assume that should be part of your claim if there is any.

If there is make sure to report it ASAP and ask to have an adjuster come out ASAP. With the snow coming I am not sure how they deal with that.

So am I seeing a big tree down?  My nabor across the street had a tree of his damaged when a car hit it and it had to be removed. It was a maple with about a eight inch trunk. I was floored when he told me what they paid him for that. Replacement of a tree that size is very expensive.

In reply to dean1484 :

The one tree is a red maple and it’s damaged but didn’t break any branches. And aside from bark, it seems ok.Sure did a number on my truck when it got shoved into it.

We have about 60-70’ of torn up grass in 4 spiraling strips. So much dirt and grass in the driveway. The Altima rental was covered in dirt and grass in fact.

What about the ATF and coolant puddles in the driveway? Ramp truck guys threw speedy-dry on it and left.

I’m thinking ATF isn’t good for asphalt.

Time for the "decorative" fence across the front made with concrete filled steel posts. Your homeowners insurance might even cover putting it in at this point.

I suggest moving to a hill, in the woods. That or the moat idea, you'd have to drain it in the winter though.

Naaa. Skating on it would be cool.

In reply to dean1484 :

If you're into that, sure, but the barrage of cars would also skate across it, scrubbing off less speed before they hit and break something. I suppose if you made it deep enough (or flat enough on the bottom) you could partially drain it for winter, leaving enough of a shelf to catch anything.

Have you thought about getting rezoned for a salvage yard? I mean if you're going to keep having lemons crashing through your yard/cars/house, you might as well get to drink the lemonade, eh?

WOW.

So, it was a Honda Accord that hit Yukon1.  Was it also an Accord that hit Yukon2?

How damaged is that car that hit Yukon2? Pics?

The driver here was lead away in cuffs.  Have you confirmed that he is in fact properly insured?

I got to drive it 4.2 miles and put in $20.01 worth of 87 octane in it. Clearly I was so excited I couldn’t pull out in time (to stop the pump at $20.00). I swear this never happened to me before.

Gray 2012 Honda Accord kills 2005 Yukon Denali. Four weeks go by and a gray 2010 Honda Accord kills 2005 Yukon Denali (and the rental for the first Denali).

ill see what I have for pics in a second and I was told to go to the station to pick up all the information this morning.

Thats all I have of the Honda. Pictures here don’t do it justice. You can imagine what moving an almost 6,000lb vehicle 20 feet sideways AFTER plowing into an Altima does to a car! His passenger side was... gone?

God Bless Ya!  I'm not sure I could keep my patience in this situation.

I hope with all my hope that the driver turns out to be properly insured!

And to add to how Twilight Zone this all is, during all the confusion and commotion with cops everywhere and the ramp trucks vying for space, a woman (who I noticed was not one of the several neighbors that came over) was seen waking around and asking questions about her fiancé.

The stranger part? I heard the cop tell her to “go ahead, take the whole pizza.”. She came to get the berkeleying PIZZA out of the car. And only then did she ask what bail might cost.

She didn’t look like Mama June either. Doesn’t marijuana make you hungry?

That’s very funny! After 2.5 hours of sleep, I’m not in as good a mood as I was when it happened. After the BOOM from the crash and after it registered that my family was all ok, I ran out and took it all in after I did a quick assessment of the driver and was just literally amazed at the odds, the luck, what could’ve happened, the irony, everything. The cops were amazing as were the ramp truck drivers and our neighbors offering rides and other things.

But now I’m remembering how tight that truck felt driving. How immaculate the interior was, barely a hint of surface rust on the frame, how the doors opened and shut like new, how every option worked, how I FINALLY had remote start, panel fitment was awesome etc.

 Ok, now I’m berkeleying mad.

I know you said you were on the inside of the curve but you now had a car total the house and 2 cars in your driveway.  Decorative boulders sounds like a good plan to me.

This.  And if anyone complains, call it an art installation dedicated to your ethnic heritage and asking to remove it would be grounds for discrimination.

Well, obviously the truck wasn't THAT tight, otherwise it wouldn't have fallen apart like that on impact.  cheeky

As always, if you need my assistance in navigating the claim process, don't hesitate to ask.

Wow this is amazing!!   I remember reading about your house being hit, the first Yukon, and now this?? Amazing! You live in a a pretty sleepy town too. Must be a lot of drunks, and or potheads. I know I'm not far away, and we have plenty of both. Must be because of the Patriots. This E36 M3 never happened when they sucked 20 years ago. Where'd you find that clean Denali? Not Everett's I bet.
