Looks like there's some major changes coming down the pike:

JG's already combing craigslist for a Reatta.

318is could be an interesting one... I don't think it would ever beat the MINI, but it certainly would be cool to try.
Integra GSR, Civic Si, Firebird V6, (all years?) 240SX, CRX Si, Fiesta ST (oh my!)
There are a LOT of interesting options. I might need to go shopping.
C30 Polestar could be interesting with the rear sway bar allowance. Putting a larger swaybar on my stock T5 trim sure fixed the understeer problem quickly.

That's the list of cars getting moved from GS to HS.
fiesta ST is the one that I think has the shot, though I haven't driven one.
Looks like this will just make my little SVT have to work all that much harder...
A well thought out ti could probably come close, but the fiesta st runs similar times to the focus st at autoxes.....so I have a feeling it'll be the new answer to H-Street.
It has to be the Topaz V6. Bring one of those and you will get lots of attention. Not the good kind.
Things I'd keep an eye on:
With the Probe GT / MX6 and Celica ST being interesting dark horse candidates.

SHOpaz is that you?

I wanna see a 318ti with a LSD try for it. Some OTS Konis, big fat front sway bar and as much camber as the front camber bolts would allow would make it a competitor. I wish mine had a LSD and the stock springs, then I'd give it a shot.
In reply to MINIzguy:
It'd stand a real chance to be honest.....my '95 with lsd is too far beyond the street class without an avenue for return.
Even though I own one, I absolutely agree with moving the 370Z to B. Someone must have been a good lobbyist to get it classed in C to start with. You were never going to get a Twin or Miata to run with it.
Personally, I want to see someone challenge the MINI with a Peugeot 505. I think its the next "it" car!
Oh great now I'll never have another shot at winning an autox event now that the Si is being moved into HS. Oh well who likes paying $40+ for maybe 5-10 minutes of driving anyways

Which is exactly what makes it interesting.
