Words that describe what we're seeing in the video. "8 second quarter mile". "twin engine". "AWD". "1300 horsepower". "Nascar engine". Oh and "go kart".
Apparently the engines are only running at about 70% of their full potential. He hopes to get into the 7s soon. Pretty crazy!
That's a lot of NOPE all rolled up into one package.
Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they never thought about whether or not they should...
I searched for some kind of build thread and couldnt find anything. I just wonder how they have the throttle system rigged up. Must be electronically controlled?
Jesus, 21psi is "low boost"?

Doesn't have to be...could just be 2 throttle cables connected to one pedal.
Anyone else see his other video of a 1200hp awd Pontiac grand prix? If I had to reckon a guess this is his exocet like version of that car
Dudes making really fast E36 M3 in an unconventional fashion. I'm all for it!

I've thought about it for them and the answer is yes, oh hell yes they should. I love that there are nuts out there doing E36 M3 I can't.
Serious question: What are those engines?

Not sure whats so outlandish? Weirder stuff shows up at the challenge from what I have seen. So he has more budget. I can find a dozen twin engine swaps on YouTube.

Interesting, but to me it just re-enforces the idea that drag racing is one of those things that I just don't 'get'. I'd rather see a video about the design and fabrication of the car than pass after pass down a strip. They all looked the same to me.

What the berk does this thing look the same as?
Drag racing is a fascinating technical exercise. I'm a champagne sipping Euro fag F1 snob and I’d rather watch drag racing for eternity than 30 seconds of NASCAR
I heartily approve. Looks like fun. I mean, if you're just gonna go in a straight line, it's gonna have to be scary fast to keep you awake, right?
Did anyone else notice the (give or take) ten second Mustang II in the first race?

Did you watch the video? If you didn't, then there are a series of passes down the strip with increasing amounts of boost. My opinion is that I would rather watch a video with maybe one pass instead of 5 or 6 because they all look the same to me and would be more interested to learn about the car itself. I'm not saying anything is wrong with drag racing. I'm saying it doesn't interest me to watch.
I want to drive that thing
When can we get a kit? Lol
