Some people collect cars, toys, guns, ext....

This Past week I happen to be collecting race teams that I am sponsoring at My local dirt track called Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, Wisconsin. Its a 1/3 miles clay oval On the local fair grounds that runs April though Sept. I do the victory lane photos and this year I talked to a couple of teams about putting my name on the car in exchange for photos of their cars and teams any given week. The season started with Derek and Nate Crane in the Wingless sprint cars and the Jack Williams in the Modified class. This past week It has been very amsuing. On sunday the wingless cars where at 141 raceway in Wisconsin and Derek places first in the feature and his brother Nate placed third. Its Nates first season in the car and only one race last year behind the wheel, he has been doing very well this season running. Last Sat night The #46 street stock of Cody Ericsson won the feature and Him and his father where in victory lane and some comment was made about my name would look very nice on the side of their car. So we made it happen this week and after that I ended up talking to The #147 In the bandit class and made the deal with him to be come a sponsor also. Well, I got home from the races this morning at 1:30 am and get a Facebook message from the #50 Modified asking me to sponsor him also. That deal is still being worked out over the next few days.
After that this afternoon I talked to my brother about being one of their sponsors for the derby team they are running this year which bring 4 drivers to the stable. So it looks like I have about 6 teams about about 11 cars in my stable of sponored teams and cars. and I had to share this pic with everyone from sat night of two of my cars won this past week back to back in street stock and the bandits. And just to really make it amusing, look at the t-shirt I am wearing. I am very much trying to get GRM stickers On all the cars also to try to get someone into the magazine at some point this year. I know we are dirt track, but still its fun to see your name out there.

Thanks guys. I was hoping to really get the push this year for getting my name out there for more photos to make some extra money to fund my racing effort...has not happened yet. Hey Realminiparker, next you come out, stop over and say hello when I am in voctory lane shooting a car. Its always cool to meet other from the message boards in real life. I don't think it will be to hard to find me since i have the same vest, hate and camera rig every week.

I always forget how many GRMers there are in Southern Wisconsin. I am up in the great white north of Green Bay/Appleton area. Ever make it up to Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna? No dirt there though.

Thanks for the invite joe, but I have to work all weekend, and sat night is the dirt action. On sat july 29th at Wilmot is the World Of Outlaws if anyone wants to watch the biggest show on dirt with the biggest names in the sprint car world racing with some support classes. Its a blast to watch the big names come to town and run agaist the locals.
