Man I would jump on that Celica that thing looks amazing, but then again everything I would want to do has already been done so there is no fun in that.
real shame to cut up a 58 beetle for that... not when there are so many 60s and 70s beetles still around
Damn..... have early Celicas gotten that expensive? Nice car, but seems like a lot of coin for a car with blotchy paint, a cracked dash, and other issues. I'd think that $$ would buy a nearly mint one.
Live in asheville area here, I think at least 2-3 others do as well. There is usually 1 or 2 all tracs for sale at any givin time. That subi powered vw has been for sale for about 2 months now. Usually 2-5 944's/928's, as many subarus with 2.5's and blown head gaskets as you ever want yet people still want $2500 for most of them. The c4 is actually about the same price as most c4's that I have seen.
Get that all-trac wagon. They don't call them mini-Quattro's for nothing.
Hang a turbo on it for sleeper status!
Assuming the rust is only what he showed, that TA is a steal at $12,500. Even more if it is a W72 car, which he doesn't state, but pretty likely on a manual/WS6 '78 (some sources indicate all manual TA's in 78 were W72).
That celica is the sex.... High on the price yes, but shove $8k in his face and you might get away with some slick talking.
Upon further review I think I need that Trans Am.
You know they can jump bridges, knock down mailboxes, and fly through medians without ever getting a scratch. And there's Frog......

I lived close to Asheville for a few years, its in the mountains there is no good way to get anywhere... So yes Atlanta is more or less close
there are about 6-8 craigslists within 3 hours of asheville, yet most stuff is posted to the Asheville one
