That's what I was thinking. I may have to check into it, depending on how high the bidding gets. It has a GRM decal on the right side, which makes me wonder if it belongs to someone here.
I was at an autox in the Mansfield area earlier this year and there was three of these there. I think it is one of them.
love that they just bolt the driveshaft right onto the chain drive output shaft with an adapter. I have been thinking about this for my own purposes lately....
I believe the go-to shaft output adapter for the Locost community was Hawk.

Always worried about the skinny gears in a motorcycle gearbox having to deal with the extra weight and grip of the Locost vehicles.
This would be a hoot for autox. But its not going to be fast on a road couse. The 'busa won't be able to out power the fairly huge drag of the seven body.
It would be a fun fair weather commuter. Too bad they didn't title it, it's easy to do in Ohio as far as I know. But it's harder to do if you don't have receipts for major components. They want to see receipts with VIN numbers for major component donors.

Me too, but it this substantiated? I mean, the torque through the gearbox is pretty well limited by the engine, no?

Worst case scenario, get a drag box made. Problem solved.
Why is that thing in A Mod? Anything that can't be undone to put it back to D Mod? Seems like it would be way outclassed.

Not in a motorcycle. You can only apply so much tq before the front wheel comes off the ground (or you spin the rear).
It's Amod because motorcycle engine. The question would be what would it take to be Bmod. They can run there but it is a bit more restriction than Dmod would allow with a car motor. Modernbeat had a similar car that was rendered obsolete when MC engined cars got punted from D/Emod.
I've not heard of any trans issues with the increased weight.
