Okay. Back when I was racing (SCCA ITB), I always used Hawks. Loved `em. But that was for a dedicated racing car (IT as a "dual purpose" class was a lie even back then).
I'd like to do some track days in my autocrosser. I won't have to readjust any suspension settings, because I've never tried to dial it in for autox. I'm looking for a pad that will stand up to track work, but will be streetable enough for a car that's not a DD.
I've been hearing good stuff about EBC's Yellow, anyone have any stories/advice? Car is a `92 VW Corrado VR6, with drilled stock size Brembos (F and R). Weight should be a lil' over 3K (they're about 2750 empty) lbs with my fat hiney, a skinny instructor, and a full tank.

I like em. They were the 1st manufacturer to offer a dual purpose pad for the '07 Mini S, so I tried a set. They're predictably less grabby than the stock pads on the street, but last longer on the track. I run them year 'round + 4-6 track days/TT's. I'll get 3 track days out of the fronts, rears last forever. They're cheap and dust less than stock too.
I have EBC Yellowstuff on the Esprit. It solved my brake fade issue. With OEM pads (Toyota), I got like 3 stops from 100MPH, then nothing. As in, I'm going 100 now and I think I'll put the brakes on, oh, I have lots of pedal, but no matter how hard I press, I'm not slowing down at all. That has never happened with the Yellowstuff. A day at the track, maybe an hour to an hour and a half track time, used up about 1/4 to 1/3 of the fronts. They do need to get up to temp before you get full braking ability out of them first thing in the morning, but it's a trade off I'll take to be able to stop. There's a little more dust than with the OEM pads.
If you're not having fade issues, I dunno.
^Second vote for Yellowstuff. I loved them.
Thanks everyone. Sure will be nice not to have to change pads at the track..bleeding the stupid thing three times is enough!
