Wrong! 
Not even close Bubba. The 68 Trans Am Javelins were mirrored, one was R/W/B and the other was B/W/R. All of Mark Donohue's were B/W/R but the street Trans Am special Javelin (only 100 made) were R/W/B. The Super Stock AMX's were R/W/B and the factory AMX funny car was R/W/B. Craig Breedlove's record 68 AMX's were mirrored as were the Bonneville speed week Javelins.
Basically AMC did whatever the heck they wanted, there was no rhyme or reason.
