Not sure about this......

Well it seems the next logical step would be upgrade from the 3-cyl to a Suzuki 16v. Not sure if you'd really gain anything though?
I've been perusing his build thread. He built this thing from a beater Miata to test out his ideas and has applied the knowledge to another Miata. He does have some neat solutions to installation issues in the build thread. I think this guy would fit right in here.

You shut your dirty whore mouth!
Hey!!! that's my car!!!!!!!
Someone had to do it. Just say'n .
Anyway, someone needs to put a Turbo in it!
It was executed really well - like Skunk said, he'd fit right in around here. Lots of creative solutions to unusual problems, and he didn't lose sight of what he was building.
Fujioko, I think you should document your current project on the GRM forum.
I found a quote in his build thread that makes me think nobody should ever drive that car...
"I also plan on running with three lug nuts on each wheel to reduce rotational mass".
Hey, to each their own...
Living in Jackson will drive you to do crazy stuff like that to stay entertained, the whole county is that way.
I know him. He's working on a project with our company. Any questions, let me know. I told him to post it up here, so we'll see if he does. Yes, he'd fit in here.
EDIT: I see he already posted up here...oops. Missed that.

The car actually has four lug-nuts (per wheel), but in Jackson two per wheel is considered plenty,
I have bookmarked the build to read at lunch. I would like to do this to a Spitfire, but use the Swift GTI engine.
I give him credit for being up front about the condition of the car. 'Round my parts people would be trying to pawn that off for $2500+, no technical information in the ad, and just a bunch of worthless phrases like "fun in the sun!".
At least he's honest:
"The car is more or less worthless. Every part of the car is rusted, dented or is damaged."
In reply to fujioko:
You should bring either of your Miatas out to a MiMiata club meeting. It would be interesting to see the looks on peoples faces while they looked under the hood of either one, especially the three cylinder..
In reply to DeadSkunk:
Hopefully I'll pass the three cylinder along to a local member who will take the car to the next level. The G10 is the coolest freak I have ever built and it pains me to let it go.
My other Miata with the B3 engine (and air conditioning) would surprise a lot of people. The B3 is low on HP but has a torque curve right where it is needed. Overall the B3 is a perfect alternative to some soulless econobox . I would love to get other drivers impressions.
The B3 should be back on the road again in a few weeks. I spent this winter doing some engine mods to improve performance and hopefully get more MPG.
