A friend of mine is restoring an old (I want to say 1947) Ford COE pick-up and is having a hell of a time finding some of the parts he needs.

I'm constantly amazed and impressed by how much the GRM braintrust knows and I'm sure you guys won't disappoint.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I see people selling COE trucks and related parts fairly often over on the HAMB board. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/ Chances are there are very few reproduction parts specifically for COE trucks, but they do share a lot of bits and pieces with conventional trucks - he could try Bob Drake: http://www.bobdrake.com/

Try here: Green Sales Co They carry obsolete Ford OEM parts from dead dealer inventory. If he can get a parts book and figure out the part numbers, even better. Medium and heavy trucks were historically never very collectible so a lot of that stuff didn't get saved.
