I have these 12.10 vented disk and 4 pot Porsche boxster calipers on my Alfa Romeo spider. I had a mini spare tire ( wanted to save weight) from a Ford focus,15 inch.. had in my boot for 3 happy years, why 3 happy years. Never had a flat tire. If I did have one...
.i would been in trouble big time, found out durring new engine change and restoration, that the mini spares would no for over the brake calipers, disks, yes.. I have a aluminum spare rim that will fit over the brake calipers,16 inch Ford spare. But bolt pattern is 5x114, I belive, my car is 4x108 pattern. I thought about machining out the center mounting part,and have a new machined disk welded in with proper bolt pattern
But cannot find anyone to do this,any help here? The machined parts would be cut at a 45 degree angle ,for best placement of new centre section
