Mythbusters did. The only ways to beat photo radar are:
1- Remove plates.
2-Exceed 160 mph.
Both of these systems have other problems.....

ya .. I could remove the plates but as you said, there are consequences... and not much chance of my CRX going 160

But honestly, I wouldn't completely trust the results of Mythbusters.

Apparently, this stuff worked but it's now been taken off the Internet. Possibly had some legal threats...
Anything else, I'd only believe it worked if you could take pictures of the plate without a flash and I couldn't read the numbers.
