Well, i have recently come into $500, old debts being paid.
This is money i wasn't counting on getting, and i'd like to dump it into the Celica. The question is... WHAT do i buy?
Some of that money will be going towards a new driver's side axle and filling my motor mounts. The rest is fair game.
Here's a link to what it currently has:

I'm just looking for suggestions at this point, should easily have $400 left after the axle and mounts.
Harness? Racing seat? Nifty steering wheel? Fix the exhaust? Put aside money for cage? Put aside for wider wheels? Wing and splitter just 'cuz? Battery relocation?
I can honestly say that i've never had a car to this point before, so i'm a little lost. My next step WAS going to be more power, but i'm going to wait on that, i just want to get as many autoxs as possible in this season.
Whacky suggestions welcome!

That'll be done nonwithstanding... i'll need a pair of fresh RS2s probably halfway through the season. I'm going to run on street tires this season. I'm uncompetitive anyways, going to R compounds or slicks won't do much for me.
Buxom blonde? Nothin' makes a car look better than a hot chick sittin' shotgun.
Just sayin'...... :)
Already got a hot chick for it.
Though she doesn't really like riding in it anymore.
I don't think ANYONE likes riding in it, for that matter.
Battery relo, seats, exhaust...those are the bang-for-the buck I would suggest. Maybe fresh wires? The 4afe in my little 'rolla loved some new wires and a better ground...not much more power, but waaay better throttle response.
The exhaust would just be patching what i already have, purely because the noise it makes is disgusting, so there's not much bang for the buck to be had there.
I'm not going to bother trying to eke any horsepower out of this motor. Waste of time.
Fresh wires might be a good idea. It's still running the wires that were on it when i bought the car, and who knows how old they are. Thanks!

Evo AutoX school, gas, and entry fees for as many early season test and tunes as you can manage.

That's not going to happen this year... i can afford the car, but the extra expenses of the trip won't happen.

I had thought about that, or something similar... I need to do more checking into that.
Looks like there's a Phase One in Cincinatti on april 10th for $275. Nice! I think that's manageable. Thanks man!
In reply to 93celicaGT2:
I'm considering going to that one as well.
My only concern is that i may be better off taking this course in a car that isn't quite so.... unstock. I've used the car's capabilities as a crutch for my entirely mediocre driving for way too long i think. I don't think i had the skills to really push the car to what it was capable of even back when it just had lowering springs and smaller tires, let alone what it can do in it's current state.
I think i'm going to ask them some questions this week and see what the deal is.
Bass Cannon and an Amp, y0.
