Agree.
Godspeed, Mark. I'm honored to have known you and called you friend.

Ugh, inevitable but still very sad.
Condolences to Dan and Tod. We should all be so lucky to have friends willing to help like you two did.
I am pretty sure I've talked to Mark down at the Challenge a few times, as I definitely remember the cars! He was a really good guy. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends, including his extended GRM family. This sucks.

Yeah, we can do something. Easy. Sadly over the years we've lost several regulars.
I just found out about Mark's passing...that is terrible. He was always someone I looked forward to seeing and talking to at the challenge. He was especially nice to all the kids that were coming, including my son, which made them all feel like part of the event. And like little Stampie, Sean got a few ringers over the years from Mark to take out the competition. :-)
Condolences to his friends and family.

Thanks for your thoughts, Pat.
Yes, Mark made a lot of friends at the Challenge, and was great with the kids. He wanted us to take all his valve cover racers to the Challenge this fall and give them to the kids in attendance, so they can race them and keep them. So we will do that. Tod has the cars now and is planning to bring them. Mark had also put together a new starting ramp for the races that is now in the hands of Tom Suddard.
