Ok so I am probably going to need a stronger diff for the Spit. Is there a diff which is commonly swapped in and can be done easily?
See my reply to earlier post re: Subaru R160.
Pro: Strong, available, cheap, Mounts to chassis with suitable adaptors.
Con: Must fabricate adaptors. Swing axle cars require early model R-160 with 'roll pin' CV connections, and custom U-Joint adaptors. Or install GT6 rotoflex rear suspension (bolts in). Or design and fabricate your own CV setup.
