It looks like a cross between rally and a hill climb in a Lotus 7 looking thing...
Looks like Fun.

this has to be from Australia
...I'm shocked to find out that it isn't. There's a few videos floating around of some guys doing similar things in early-mid 80s Subaru wagons
How do you bunnyhop with a car?
You know, I'm probably better off not knowing, so I'm not clicking the links.
Interesting concept, but my god, don't let the rednecks around here see it. They'd laugh themselves silly at how ridiculous the Irish are. these people seriously need some super swampers.

Colin Chapman got his start racing and building cars for Trials. That's where how he came by his 'simplify and add lightness' philosophy, and why there's so much similarity between Trials cars and early Lotus models like the 7.

Hmmm, I'm at least 1/4 Irish. Now I know what I'm so attracted to cars with spindly wheels and less than 2000cc. Austin 7s started with 750cc flat heads IIRC.
Back when the Adirondack Motor Enthusiast Club was formed, and consisted of mostly English sports cars, they ran trials on a dirt course that today would be called rally cross. No hill climbs as pictured.
As awesome as that is, this video popped up in my sidebar, and...wow!

No helmets or roll bars needed.
A snifter of Bushmills, a packet of carroll's and bollocks the size of bowling balls.
