How is your car set up brake wise? Separate front and rear MC's with a balance bar? How will you adjust bias with the new rear brake?

So how does a single brake work on a differential equipped rear?

It all looks very nice.

Yes, it's got the two MC's w/ a balance bar, so it's pretty easy to adjust that if I've got too much rear or front. The rear single caliper has about the same piston area as the older Lockheed part, so I don't think I'll have to do too much fiddling.

According to Bill at SFRE, the single brake disk works fine and that's how many of the sports racers do it. It does, however, kinda sound weird since it's no longer a spool.

With the engine out and the rear suspension apart, it was a good time to reinforce some of the rear framework. Then we took the opportunity to paints the chassis. Of course, the new paint didn't match the old paint, so even more of the car was disassembled so that we could properly paint the roll cage structure. That included stripping the previous layers of paint from the framework.

Once the chassis and roll cage were painted, we finally started reassembling the car. Along the way, we took the time to make a new headrest out of high-density foam padding from BSCI. We also installed a Wilwood brake caliper that we loaded with Carbotech AX6 pads.

Per, Who did you get the car from, as I think I saw it run a while back.

If you dig back to one of the earliest post for this project, you can see all of the different owners. If you went to the Runoffs in the late 80s-early 90s at Road Atlanta, you saw it.
