wait- you had 2" of snow on the roads and people were having problems?
amateurs..
I'm sounding like a RG fanboi here but he did a recent cross-country drive in a new Viper on his way to meet up with Leno and ran into snow around Texas. Slow going apparently but did just fine.

Well, I need decent tires and I'm driving an old school RWD turbo car. That makes for some white-knuckle driving here and there.

2" of snow and i'm thinking about my snow tires..... I made it til nearly mid december this year.
I also saw a Viper in the winter today; a pristine red RT/10 (early car) with the top off. I guess the winter situation is a bit different down here in Florida, though.
My camaro can be enough trouble with snow tires, but I think that is because they are a few seasons old and I moved to a place that gets much more snow.
A viper must have been a handful. But if you've got it, flaunt it.

you're supposed to get the good tires before the snow flies.. it's kind of an annual thing..
