To be a bit more forthcoming, does a 2002 Neon RT with all the SRT parts on it have any value? I bought a crashed SRT a few years back, and once I figured out how bent it was, I went and found a pretty nice RT and changed power train suspension, brakes and seats. I have four fun street cars and three race cars, and the Neon gets driven the least.
I wonder what the odds are of getting decent dough out of it?
I’m not sure what a RT/SRT4 mashup is worth, but last year when I was looking, nice SRT4s (unmodded or primarily mopar parts) seemed to be in the 7k-up range. Although stockish ones are pretty hard to find. Modded ones had asking prices all over the place.
I haven't seen a stock one in years.
"All the SRT parts" = the turbo drivetrain as well?
My guess is put together one like that will be worth a few thousand less than a similar condition SRT, since it's not a "real one" and someone is trusting that you did the work correctly vs it being a hack job.
Which race car will the SRT goodies fit in the easiest?
SRT4s around here seem to be listed in the $4500-$7500 ball park depending on mileage/condition. For a "Clone", I'd probably put it somewhere in the middle of regular Neon value and SRT value. Maybe $3k-3500?
This reminded me of the time I saw a really nice PT GT on cl for like 2200 bucks and I wondered if the guy would sell it to me if he knew I wanted to yank the motor to put in a rampage I also saw on cl.
I think a good condition actual SRT4 is still worth 7K. My son has a 2003 clean title stocker that I think he could get $7500 easily. Very few are that way, most have been modded or are salvage titles, the little beast will put you in a ditch in a heartbeat. It is easily the most hooligan of any four cylinder turbo car I have driven.
With all that said, I doubt your mashup is worth any more than a standard RT unless you can find someone who can appreciate it for what it is. Finding a fanboy who can get is deal is your best bet. Most won't want to touch it with a 10 foot pole.
Being pretty deep in the neon community, unless its well documented and super well done (oem+) you wont get much for it.
Sounds like a great track car for someone, just crash and re-chassis as needed.

The car is OE spec. All the parts that make an SRT an SRT are there, with the factory wiring, nuts, bolts, brackets and so on. Engine, trans, wiring, struts, brakes, wheels, seats...It just looks like an RT. Other than the boost gauge. Some douchbag stole it from the parts car.
I figure about halfway between R/T and SRT value. One of you American types should buy it. You'd have the only Chrysler branded SRT/RT Neon south of the 49th parallel.
I would buy it. I need it like another broken arm but I like it. Get with me if you decide on what you want for it I may be able buy it

REALLY nice SRT4 neons aren't over 7k, they're over 10k. I think it's mostly due to rarity since truly nice SRT4s are extremely rare now.

I have a buddy in PA with the Chrysler body stuff on his SRT. It's not titled as a Chrysler, though.
Anyway, i think you'd be doing good to get $3500 out of this, realistically. Unfortunately the fact that it's not a real SRT raises more questions than the 'apparent condition' answers. Even if it was objectively every bit as good as the real thing, it'd take a decent mechanic just to assess that, and at least in this mechanic's case, we're typically buying something broken for half off and fixing it instead of paying full price for pre-modified stuff. To the layman it's just a 15 year old turbo neon with a more suspicious backstory than usual. 
Another thing that makes a SRT4 is the front and rear facias and hood and spoiler. An SRT4 is not a Neon SRT4 and is branded as such. Yours may be as fast and fun but its not an SRT4.

I understand about the nose and tail, but to my eye, they are just plain ugly. I don't like the corporate nose with the four holes on anything, and the SRT hood is hoooorrrrrrible so I figure adding (My opinion) the best looking Neon nose of the bunch is an improvement.
It is taking a lot of my willpower not to troll the Mopar guy about the Neon/SRT4 nomenclature. There's about 10,000 Mopar guys that get really frothy when you call an SRT4 a Neon, and nobody else cares, except as teasing fodder.

All true, I'm not a Mopar guy so I could care less, but you are totally right about how worked up they can get. That's why I brought it up. The other thing that really gets them irritated is when you troll them about their 1 of 246 of some indescriminate option package that most care nothing about.
My take- since it is not a Nsrt4, it will be considered a turbo 2.4 drivetrain swap, of which there are many, many of these days, including all of the turbo-ed 2.4 swaps that seem to inhabit approximately 1/3 of all modified Neons I see lately. Since it is a second gen, it has nothing special over most of them, and loses out to the two door first gen turbo 2.4 swaps (R/T, ACR, and otherwise), and the K car, OmniRizon, Rampage and Minivan turbo 2.4 swaps. "Authentic Nsrt4" drivetrain, wiring, etc, doesn't really mean that much when it isn't in the original car. Proven blistering performance could make up that gap, but this one doesn't sound like it has any of the toys on it. The car is an oddity, but really not at all odd. Just a de-contented Nsrt4, in my opinion. I predict the market to be pretty slim.
Regardless, that thing makes one hell of a sleeper.

What kind of power and torque range can the SRT4 engine make reliably - primarily, can it beat the 283 horsepower @ 6,400 rpm &
260 lb-ft of torque @ 4,400 rpm of the current 3.6L V6?
Despite zero time and even less space, I have the silly dream of somehow stuffing one of these into my '08 Grand Caravan, although part of me wonders if the novelty of a manual transmission in a minivan my wear off fairly quick.
I am seriously resisting the urge to try to haggle with you....

When I was shopping last year, I idly searched for SRT4s and found that decent ones were in ratty Subaru STi range. The problem is that a decent SRT4 is still not as good as a ratty STi.

Hmm... do you realize that Chrysler made manual transmission NS Caravans?
They all had the 2.4l.
