I just want to give a public thanks to Stampie for being awesome. I mentioned offhand that there was one particular engine/trans combination on one particular 80's truck that I always wanted but could never find in my on again off again searches. He found six of them in less than 24 hours. My wife says he's not invited to dinner any more, but I love the guy. I can't drag one of these home now, but I'm pretty sure I know what my next project is. Stampie is rad.
One more reason to love this place.
Yeah he’s a really good enabler
Lol. I'm not awesome. I'm just good at stirring the pot with spouses.
Venn diagram with LOTS of overlap there Stampie.
Yeah, when I put out a call for help with the SVX, he was the only one to really step up and answer. I'm sorry I never got the chance to use the offered help, but he's a pretty stand up guy!
I love me some stampie. Good man.
Well, which truck with which engine/trans combo?
Late 80's Bronco with the 300 six, manual transmission and transfer case. Ford could see the future at this point with the Explorer coming out and with Eddie Bauer co-branding, yet they still sold this version of the full size Bronco that was basically agricultural equipment with a license plate. I love them.

you, sir, are a strange man. very very strange. That's why we like you.
In reply to Bobcougarzillameister :
I ran it by Mrs. Deuce last night and she says "we literally have a six cylinder manual transmission manual transfer case SUV sitting right outside already, you're retarded". And I countered with "but that's yours........." That went over about as well as expected. I'm honestly having a hard time coming up with a business case for this one, and this is coming from the guy who was able to justify the R63 and the cabover.
Maybe you do, but is it a Bronco?
In reply to mazdeuce - Seth :
say its for one of the deucelings?
Agreed, Stampie is awesome. Let's not forget he created Photoberkit
Stampie seems like a nice guy...

Convertible back row seating - does that offer any unique merit?
I can't let this go by without getting in on the Stampie Group Hug!
Thats pretty much my dream SUV. I looked at one 3 years ago and my wife went nope, im not driving that. There hard to find period in ohio let alone with the 300.
