I was just glancing over the new issue and Suddard's column struck a chord with me. Having our first child has definitely opened my eye's to the way I drive on public roads especially with him in the car. I still vividly remember how terrified I was driving him home from the hospital. I catch myself all of the time driving to close and have to consistently remind myself to slow down. I'm getting better though and have started to really become aware of how I'm driving. Anyway here's hoping everyone stays safe out there.

yes.. while single and childless.. when I had my sis and my niece in the car, I easily slipped into "highly defensive" mode..
