I put this together today while I had some slow time at work.
For purposes of comparison I only looked at street tire classes and ignored ladies classes, CAMT and CAMS as those classes weren't deep enough for tires to be a determining factor. I also only considered drivers who finished in the top 90% of their class to filter out those that didn't have any impact on the trophies.

Highlights: 79% of entries that finished in the top 90% in their class had Bridgestones, 15% had BFG's
74% of Trophies in competitive street tire classes went to Bridgestones while 23% went to BFGs
48% of drivers on BFG's who finished in the top 90% of Competitive Street Tire classes won a trophy, while only 29% of Bridgestone drivers did
BFG has a significant "success margin" in both Street and Street Touring, although this margin is larger in Street Touring than it is in Street.
I grouped the classes into "Big Car" and "Small Car" classes and the difference in success margin isn't significant between car sizes.
Conclusion: BFG Rival S is closer to the Bridgestone at Lincoln than conventional wisdom suggests and is empirically the superior tire.
AND/OR
Better drivers were more likely to chose BFG's vs. Bridgestones.
