You can ask for a price adjustment. Contact steam. They will make it right.
Figured I would bump this even though the Sale appears to be over. Even at full price Assetto Corsa is a cheep entry in to sim racing. It is dated in terms of graphics but the physics in the game are excellent. Because it is old you can run it on very low spec computers. There is a huge community out there with custom tracks and cars to explore But again it is a bit dated and it shows in the graphics. For those that remember Sportscar GT (I spent hours playing that game/sim) there is a little of that games feel in Assetto Corsa and that is in a good way!
If you get the racing bug and the you can then try other games. Iracing is the obvious next move. Much less a game as it is a on line racing world. Iracing is the go to for amateur and pro drivers with televised events on national TV!!! How cool is that!!! There is/was a GRM hosted Iracing event or three that looked like a really good time. And Iracing also manages to be playable on hardware that is far from top shelf. Tom a while back posted about building a budget racing pc. He was able to get a good playing experience for well under $500. With the current PC prices this may not be repeatable but the point is you don't need to invest in a new pc to get started. Most computers that are 5 years LS or less should be more than good enough to get you up and running and provide a really good experience. .
So while we would love to have more people join us playing Assetto Corsa it does not matter what Racing sim/game you play. Give it a try.
