Steelies or Alloys

The camaro is going to need new summer tires when the weather gets warm again, the rears are shot and the fronts have some dry rot. I was thinking about going another route to change the look for cheap. Or will it just make me look cheap?

Found a set of camaro steelies for $40, 16x7.5 which are only slightly smaller than the 16x8 aluminum wheels I have on there now. I could probably still run 245's on theses right?

Add new tires and a set of chrome center caps. I happen to like these astro van centers.

Dog dish hubcaps! Does the Camaro share a bolt pattern with the Caprice?

Regular caprice yes, police issue 9C1 no. The w-body 9C1 is yet another bolt pattern. I think my choices for caps are limited to the astro and s-10 blazer family.

I think painting them gloss black or something nearly black aka "graphite" with polished lug nuts would look better than hubcaps. Just a thought.
